Unwritten Psalms
(historical sources)
Do not console children!
King David was up to some whoring
No one knew but his mistress
Who dared not speak
And his other servants
Who brought him wine, by his leg
And guards from white walls
Oxen-tillers and millers
Where he used to walk and bake tortillas
And her husband knew but stayed quiet
Cause he dared not speak
And only David, the king, spake
Cause he dared to speak, and
Write
And, indeed, lions did not devour him!
